Scalp Massage Ritual with Wooden Gua Sha Comb (INCLUDED)

Prep:

  • Apply a few drops of oil directly to the hairline & scalp. Spread with fingers
  • Sit comfortably and take a few deep breaths to center yourself.
  1. Root Line Sweep
Place the comb at the front hairline, along the part.
Gently sweep back toward the nape of the neck, following the parting.
Repeat 3–5 times with light pressure.

  2. Temple Trace
Start at the center of the forehead and sweep outward toward the temples.
This relieves tension and stimulates the gallbladder meridian.

  3. Crown Spiral
Using the comb teeth, make small circular motions at the crown of the head.
Clockwise and counterclockwise spirals help activate blood flow.

  4. Occiput Release
Place the comb at the base of the skull and sweep upward toward the crown.
This targets the occipital area—great for relieving neck tension.

  5. Side Sweep
Starting above the ears, sweep upward toward the top of the head.
Repeat on both sides to stimulate lateral scalp channels.

Finish:

  • Massage any remaining oil into the scalp with fingertips.
  • Optional: wrap hair in a warm towel for 10–15 minutes to enhance absorption.
  • Practice 2–3 times per week for best results.
